Happy Holidays to All

Our family wishes you and yours a beautiful holiday season and a healthy and happy new year, filled with peace and love. We have great expectations for 2009--for ourselves and for our world.

We are beginning early with our New Year's resolution to greatly reduce our impact on the environment. Thus, we are foregoing holiday cards and, instead, using our blog to wish you all the very best. We hope that you enjoy it just as much. In this way, we can share lots of Christmas memories and holiday events, you can comment and we can keep our sanity by omitting one very large holiday task.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to All!

Every year, in between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Evie has her holiday piano recital. This year, she played "Up on the Housetop" and did a phenomenal job. She also volunteered to do an encore--"Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini--and Nate sat by her side. He will probably start lessons in the Fall.

HO HO HO!

Here is Evie decorating.

Evie with the Sugar Plum Fairy at the Nutcracker. This year, we got a tour of backstage and saw the dancers rehearse. It was a lovely day.

Nate and Ron built this amazing gingerbread house and garden. We just can't bring ourselves to eat it.

See you all in 2009! With much love, Annmarie, Ron, Evie and Nathaniel

You HAVE to be kidding!
No Xmas Cards?!!!

No wonder the economy is going to hell! No cards means we don't chop down trees, run big trucks through the forest, or run timber mills, to say nothing of the recycled paper that will simply pile up unused.

What were you thinking ;) ?

I do believe this is a good idea and certainly a nice way to keep up with the Jensens. Merry Christmas!
